Eddie Hearn says Tyson Fury cannot back out of his November fight with Anthony Joshua, contradicting the Gypsy King's recent claims that the bout was unlikely to materialise.

Fury told reporters Friday the matchup looked doubtful, but Hearn — who promotes Joshua — insisted the contracts are signed and binding. "The fight's done," Hearn told DAZN, per the BBC. "No-one can pull out of the fight. You can't just pull out of a contract."

UK Versus US Venue Dispute Complicates Logistics

The disagreement centres on location. Joshua and Hearn signed paperwork for a UK staging, while Saudi organisers Sela are pushing to move the Netflix-broadcast event to the United States. Madison Square Garden in New York is reportedly Sela's preference to capture American audiences.

Hearn said his camp has made its position clear to Sela. "We know everybody and his dog involved in the fight wants to do the fight in America. We don't," he said. "We've told Sela and the team 'if you want to do it in America, these are the terms that we can move forward with. But we'd rather not please.'"

Both fighters hold separate deals with Sela. Hearn said the only way the fight falls through is if one party breaches the contract outright.
