Jake Paul and Adin Ross are splitting the investment in a massive $2million bet for the social media star’s next fight.

The social media stars were live streaming backstage before the second press conference for ‘Paul vs Tank‘ last month. Most notably, they managed to get Gervonta Davis to agree to a massive seven-figure bet, although he almost instantly went back on it.

In a new video released by Most Valuable Promotions, Ross and Paul can be seen agreeing to terms for the bet, with the YouTuber then pushing for a contract to be drawn up between him and his opponent.

Jake Paul will put $1.75million into Gervonta Davis bet after Adin Ross footage revealed

The viral clip of Jake Paul and Gervonta Davis agreeing to bet $2million on the result of their upcoming fight was second only in virality to ‘Tank’s later tweet insisting that he wouldn’t be taking in any of his rival’s stunts.

However, Paul’s MVP company seem to believe the bet is still on as they included a clip of him and Adin Ross agreeing to co-fund his side of the bet. The streamer offers to pitch in $250,000, leaving Paul to bet $1.75million.

Paul can be seen insisting that the bet will have to be added to their contracts after Ross asks if he will actually pay out on the result. “We’re going to get it in contract,” he declares. “We’re going to go press him about it.

“A lot of these boxers, they make these bets but don’t actually do it. So we need to lock it into a contract.” It is unclear if any such contract exists, particularly after Davis publicly declared the bet was not happening.

Gervonta Davis insists Jake Paul $2million bet isn’t legitimate

The whole ordeal started when Adin Ross showed up to the Miami press conference for next month’s fight, offering to increase a side-bet he allegedly had with Davis from $200,000 to $250,000. “I got Jake winning,” Ross said.

Davis replied to Ross, saying he’d bet him $500,000 instead. Ross said he couldn’t do it, with Paul offering to split the bet between them at an even million. “Let’s make it 2 [million],” Davis suggested. Paul agreed and the boxers shook hands on stage.

However, within hours of the event, Davis seemed to back out of the idea, writing: “He was never getting that 2 mill.” He also added: “idgaf [I don’t give a f—- what happens.”
