Jake Paul is one of the most influential and controversial athletes in boxing. While he has certainly brought many eyes to the sport, many people still watch for the chance that he gets knocked out.
Of course, with all the controversy the younger Paul brother brings, he also brings some undoubted attention to the sport. His most recent endeavor has left fans stunned.
Paul has helped arguably the best women's boxer, Amanda Serrano, break records time and time again, and he will now assist the next up-and-comer, Alycia Baumgardner, who has signed with Most Valuable Promotions.
Most Valuable Promotions was started by Paul and Nikisa Bidarian in 2021, and it has since become one of the top boxing promotions in the world. MVP has signed multiple big names, such as Paul, Serrano, Javon Walton and now Baumgardner.
Baumgardner joins the MVP team with her most recent fight in September 2024. The match ended up being a no-contest after she clashed heads with her opponent, Delfine Persoon, in the fourth round.
The 30-year-old boxer holds a 15-1 record with seven wins by knockout. She is the undisputed super featherweight champion as the current belt holder of the WBC, IBO, WBO, IBF and The Ring titles.
After signing the promotional deal with Paul's company, Baumgardner is clearly looking to get more eyes on her fights as she will soon look to defend her title in her next fight, which has yet to be announced.
