Adding fuel to the fire, during an interview with Boxing News, Parker’s manager, Spencer Brown, said: “I think he’ll defend his interim title before Christmas, he’ll have to, because he’ll have to get a fight in.
“I think he’ll fight one of the top-level English guys, whether it’s Daniel Dubois or Fabio Wardley. There are quite a few to choose from. It might be Derek Chisora. He’s got himself into a great place. In my opinion, he will fight one of those three.”
