Joseph Parker may agree a deal to battle it out with a KO artist.

Having gone on an exceptional run, many want the Kiwi to get his opportunity to face Oleksandr Usyk.

However, a clash with the southpaw has yet to come to fruition, despite the WBO ordering the fight. Interestingly, Andy Lee says a clash between Parker and Usyk is unlikely.

With that in mind, it looks like the former world champion might head in another direction.

Joseph Parker could fight Fabio Wardley

According to EverythingBoxing, Joseph Parker could go head-to-head with Fabio Wardley.

A match-up between the stars could take place on October 25 at the O2 Arena in London, UK.

Adding fuel to the fire, during an interview with Boxing News, Parker’s manager, Spencer Brown, said: “I think he’ll defend his interim title before Christmas, he’ll have to, because he’ll have to get a fight in.

“I think he’ll fight one of the top-level English guys, whether it’s Daniel Dubois or Fabio Wardley. There are quite a few to choose from. It might be Derek Chisora. He’s got himself into a great place. In my opinion, he will fight one of those three.”
