It’s fight week in Las Vegas as International Boxing Hall of Famer Manny Pacquiao looks to defy the odds and once again become a world champion.
On Saturday night, live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV, live on PPV, WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios (29-2-1, 18 KOs) defends his title against the 46-year-old Pacquiao (62-8-2, 39 KOs) on a card filled with intriguing matchups.
Pacquiao’s last fight was almost 4 years ago when he lost to the crafty Cuban welterweight Yordenis Ugas at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Pacquiao has been seen in great shape and nowhere near the dad bod-ish look he sported during his last exhibition in Korea. The champion Barrios last fought in November when he went to war with Abel Ramos in their 12-round split draw. Barrios has remained active, but given his previous performance, fans are wondering if, even at 46, Pacquiao will be too much for him to handle.
We are just days away from finding out.
Per DraftKings SportsBook, Mario Barrios is the favorite at -290, and Manny Pacquiao is the underdog at +220.
Manny Pacquiao: TKO/KO +475; Decision +550
Draw: +1400
Mario Barrios: TKO/KO +130; Decision +200
These timings could change due to the length of the undercard fights.
