Matchroom and Riyadh Season have announced a new partnership that makes Riyadh Season a brand sponsor across boxing, darts and snooker.
Riyadh Season will sponsor the UK rematch between Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn on November 15 in London. Just a week later, the focus shifts to Saudi Arabia on November 22 for the “Night of Champions” card, featuring a main event showdown between Anthony Yarde and David Benavidez, and a three-belt unification bout between Jesse Rodriguez and Fernando Martinez. The partnership also extends beyond boxing. The Riyadh Season Snooker Championship returns from November 19-21, featuring Ronnie O’Sullivan and Mark Allen. In addition, in January 2026, the collaboration will stage the inaugural Saudi Arabia Darts Masters.
“Riyadh Season’s reputation is built on being connected to events that carry huge and global interest and Matchroom Sport has been an important part of many of these occasions with us so far. We look forward to continuing our relationship and building on what we have already developed together to deliver even more ground-breaking and exciting tournaments and events in the future,” Turki Alalshikh said
“We are delighted to enter an exciting partnership with Riyadh Season as our special relationship continues to thrive. And we’re just getting started. “We are incredibly grateful to His Excellency Turki Alalshikh for his continued investment in Boxing – and now into Snooker and Darts. The future is bright and we are hugely excited to deliver many more unforgettable nights for sports fans all over the world together in partnership with Riyadh Season,” Eddie Hearn
“He [Turki] has been very beneficial for the sport. I think what he’s done has been brilliant. “You have to evolve as the business evolves. Consistently in boxing, when you look back over the years, there’s always a huge investment in the sport. Whether it’s Turki Alalshikh starting in 2023, before that, you had Triller, then it was DAZN, and before that, you had [Premier Boxing Champions] with $500 million of private investment. You have to evolve with the sport as new entries come into the market,” Frank Smith stated
