Last week, boxer and influencer Jake Paul appeared in a livestream with Adin Ross, an internet personality and streamer with over 4.5 million followers on YouTube.

During the stream, Paul's boxing match against Mike Tyson in November came up, and Paul made a rather serious claim about Tyson's health.

Paul was speaking about the use of ayahuasca being "really good for your brain" and another drug, "toad," is what "cured Tyson's Parkinson's so he could come back and fight."

"Toad" is the street nickname for toad venom, often consumed in a "smokable 'dust' form."

In response to Paul's claim, Tyson's team reached out to TMZ to clear the air.

"Mike is happy and perfectly healthy. He doesn’t have Parkinson’s or any other illness.”

In preparation for the fight, Tyson did suffer from some other medical complications like an ulcer flare-up. However, he has never been diagnosed with Parkinson's, or at least publicly announced he received that diagnosis.

The fight between Paul and Tyson was the most streamed sporting event ever. Netflix reported that 65 million concurrent streams were watched globally and 38 million in the United States.

Paul won the eight-round match by unanimous decision, improving his record to 11-1.

Tyson's record dropped to 50-7 with two no-contests. The 58-year-old former world heavyweight champion has lost four of his last five fights, although Tyson hadn't competed in a sanctioned professional boxing match in nearly 20 years.
