In the last 18 months, Moses Itauma (11-0, 9 KOs) has proven his worth in boxing. He has crashed, banged, and walloped his way to the upper echelons of the heavyweight category.

The Slovakian-British professional boxer now finds himself classified as No. 2 with the WBO alongside No. 3 with the WBA.

The pugilist made his debut on the undercard of Artur Beterbiev vs. Anthony Yarde on 28 January 2023, a fight held at the Wembley Arena. Itauma easily thrashed his opponent after just 23 seconds. He has the desire to break the 38-year-old record of Mike Tyson for being the youngest heavyweight titlist.

Itauma won the vacant WBO Intercontinental heavyweight belt with a second-round stoppage win against Germany's Ilja Mezencev on the undercard of the Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk bill in Saudi Arabia on 18 May 2024. He retained his title with another second-round stoppage win, this time over Polish fighter Mariusz Wach at The O2 Arena, London, on 27 July 2024.

The boxing world was in amazement when the prodigy Moses Itauma humiliated Demsey McKean in the opening round on the Usyk vs. Fury rematch undercard in December.

The boxer has stated his performances, which is an indication of the power he already has, yet he isn't even in his 20s. He has magical hands that are only going to get heavier.

Former world champion Tony Bellew had these kind words for him.

“He's the biggest star in British boxing. He's the future. He's the future, that boy. I always thought it might be a size that holds him back, but he's good enough. Oleksandr Usyk has shown that size isn't as much. He's a boy. I see that one,” said Bellew in an interview with the CardPlayer.
