There will be a “Monster” sighting tomorrow morning here in the States on ESPN+ as the undisputed super bantamweight champion Naoya Inoue (27-0, 24 KOs) faces top contender TJ Doheny (26-4, 20 KOs). The venue will be the Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan, as Inoue continues to elevate his status as one of Japan’s biggest athletes the country currently hosts. At the weigh-in ceremony yesterday in Tokyo, Inoue came in at the super bantamweight limit of 122 pounds, while Doheny came in half a pound under. There has been plenty of talk about Inoue moving up to featherweight and seeing him on the scale yesterday, but that move may be sooner rather than later. Will we see another demo job by Inoue, or will Doheny, the heavy odds underdog, pull off the upset?
Per DraftKings Sportsbook, Naoya Inoue is the favorite at -5000, and TJ Doheny is the underdog at +1700.
Naoya Inoue: TKO/KO -1600; Decision +750
Draw: +3500
TJ Doheny: TKO/KO +2200; Decision +5000
These timings could change due to the length of the undercard fights.
