Without a doubt Donaire has inserted himself into title contention again. The first time that he won a belt was in July of 2007. But the former 9 time champion has an actual chance to go after championship run number 10.
Donaire will be the mandatory for newly appointed WBA flyweight champion Antonio Vargas. We’ve seen Donaire overcome the odds before in the past. Most likely this is his final shot at winning a title. Although he’s not a stranger to winning them as he’s won them nine times already.
