Oleksandr Usyk has been named the new Pound-for-Pound (P4P) No. 1 by The Ring Magazine.
The shift follows the retirement of 38-year-old Terence Crawford, who hung up his gloves this December after his win over Canelo Alvarez. Usyk, who remains the Ring heavyweight champion with a 24-0 record, ascended to the top spot by default, with Naoya Inoue moving to No. 2 and Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez taking the No. 3 position.
The heavyweight division saw even more movement. Tyson Fury has been completely removed from The Ring rankings after failing to compete in 2025 following his second consecutive loss to Usyk. Simultaneously, Joseph Parker was dropped from the list after testing positive for traces of cocaine following his October loss to Fabio Wardley. These exits cleared the path for Fabio Wardley to become the new No. 1 heavyweight contender. Behind Wardley, the rankings have been refreshed with more active names:
