At Friday’s weigh-in ceremony in Chicago, Oscar Duarte and Kenneth Sims Jr. both came under the junior welterweight limit of 140 pounds to make Saturday’s main event on DAZN official.
Duarte (29-2-1, 23 KOs) is heading into Saturday’s card as the slight betting favorite over Sims Jr. (22-2-1, 8 KOs), but this is as close of a 50/50 fight as it gets, with the winner heading towards a big fight either later this year or early next year.
Per DraftKings SportsBook, Oscar Duarte is the favorite at -170, and Kenneth Sims Jr. is the underdog at +135.
Oscar Duarte: TKO/KO +265; Decision +160
Draw: +1400
Kenneth Sims Jr.: TKO/KO +800; Decision +200
These timings could change due to the length of the undercard fights.
