Queensberry Promotions have enjoyed an impressive run of success, with their fighters winning major bouts while continuing to sign some of the most established and rising prospects. They have now announced a light heavyweight tripleheader, with Joshua Buatsi making his promotional debut against Zach Parker.

Joshua Buatsi Set for Queensberry Debut on November 1

Light Heavyweight Tripleheader Announced by Queensberry

The Queensberry Promotions November 1 card will be live on DAZN from the Co-op Live in Manchester. Buatsi (19-1, 13 KOs) will be involved in another domestic dust-up, as he faces Zach Parker (26-1, 18 KOs), with the winner moving one step closer to a world title shot. The other two bouts announced so far are Brad Rea vs Lyndon Arthur & Daniel Lapin vs Troy Jones, making this a light heavyweight triple treat.

Joshua Buatsi recently left Boxxer after the completion of his deal and signed with Frank Warren’s Queensberry. He will be eager to impress against Parker following his loss to Callum Smith in February in Riyadh. Parker’s career has somewhat stagnated in recent years, but he has won four in a row since having to retire against John Ryder.

Brad Rea (21-1, 10 KOs), another recent signing by Queensberry, will face former world title challenger Lyndon Arthur (24-3, 16 KOs), who lost his last fight against Anthony Yarde.

Completing the light heavyweight tripleheader is Ukrainian southpaw Daniel Lapin (12-0, 4 KOs) against Troy Jones (12-1, 6 KOs), who fought bravely in his defeat against Ezra Taylor.

Frank Warren Reacts

Looking ahead to fight night, Frank Warren said: “This will be a tremendous card and an amazing showcase for the light heavyweight division.”

“Our 175lbs contingent is so strong now that it made perfect sense to put a number of them on a major platform at the biggest and best Arena in Europe.”

Teasing the three fights confirmed already: “Joshua Buatsi is probably only a fight or two away from challenging for a world title so it is important that he is tested, and he will be against Zach Parker, who is looking to make it big himself at light heavyweight and will see this as his opportunity to plant himself high in the rankings.

“The Manchester public are in for a treat with the Brad Rea vs Lyndon Arthur match-up, with them both being local boys wanting to put on a show. Brad is now with us here at Queensberry and going up against a former world title challenger gives him the opportunity to make a perfect statement of intent.

“I was very impressed with what I saw from Troy Jones last time out when he took on Ezra Taylor, so I am delighted to give him another showcase against the undefeated Daniel Lapin, who holds two international titles and is closing in on world title contention.”
