Anthony Joshua vs Jake Paul is set for December 19 at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida. This highly anticipated clash will headline a Most Valuable Promotions card available to stream on Netflix for all subscribers.
Positively or negatively, many are discussing this fight, and Roy Jones Jr recently spoke with FightHype, delivering a brutal prediction.
Many in the boxing world have slammed Anthony Joshua vs Jake Paul and described it as a mismatch.
At the initial press conference, AJ delivered a cold warning to Paul:
“I’m going to bring him to another school of boxing that I don’t think he’s been exposed to yet. So there’s a few tricks I have up my sleeve to show Jake on December 19th.”
It appears Joshua still has the desire to succeed once again in the heavyweight division, and Paul should be a step on that road to another shot at glory for the Brit. However, Paul and his team appear confident they can send shockwaves through the sport.
Jones Jr was clear about what way he thinks December 19 will go:
“Jake’s gonna fight a real fighter, and if the real fighter fights like a real fighter, then Jake’s gonna take a real nap,” said Jones Jr when discussing the fight with FightHype.
“AJ showed you against Ngannou he’s not one of these guys you just pick off the street and say I’m gonna fight AJ.
“Nah, AJ is an Olympian, AJ is a former world champion, AJ is a two-time world champion, AJ is nothing to play with. If you’re gonna fight AJ, have your mind right because if you can’t take it, he gonna find out.”
