Rising star at heavyweight Teremoana Teremoana maintained his perfect record at the start of his professional career, improving to 8-0 with eight knockouts after a statement victory against the previously unbeaten Aleem Whitfield in the first round knockout.
The former Australian Olympian wasted no time to put the pressure on and eventually hurt Whitfield. Setting it up behind his jab as he backed his opponent up to the corner and then swung for the left hook but instead connected with a brutal pair of right hands. Clearly he was overpowering Whitfield. He was clearly out on his legs, which made the referee step in to stop the fight.

DAZN play-by-play commentator Corey Erdman described it as a “frightening knockout” from the Australian, while former boxer-turned-broadcaster Sergio Mora was full of praise for the Teremoana.
“Serious power… the power is real,” Mora said. “I was impressed with how he set that up with his jab.”
