On September 13, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Terence Crawford and Canelo Alvarez will collide with undisputed super middleweight glory on the line. This superfight will headline a Zuffa, Sela and Riyadh Season promotion live on Netflix. As fight night approaches, many have shared their predictions, and recently, it was revealed that Canelo had recruited Jaron “Boots” Ennis to help him with sparring. In a video posted by Fight Hub TV, Crawford has given his honest reaction to “Boots” sparring Canelo.
The anticipation for Canelo vs Crawford is ramping up, with the fight carrying legacy and featuring an entertaining undercard, alongside a packed fight week schedule. Crawford (41-0, 31 KOs) is aiming to become a three-division undisputed champion and four-division lineal champion, while a win for Canelo (63-2-2, 39 KOs) will reaffirm his already storied legacy.
When asked about Canelo bringing in Jaron “Boots” Ennis for sparring, Crawford said: “What is there to talk about? You’re fighting the best fighter in the world. You better be taking it serious. That goes to show you know, how serious he’s taking me, and how much he respect me.
“Because, if I haven’t fought anyone, or if I was too small, or if I was, all these things that the media say I was, then he wouldn’t need these guys to help prepare him to fight me. He wouldn’t need all the help that he’s getting, but happy that he’s getting the help that he needs, because, after September 13th, there will be no excuses.”
