Bob Arum’s Top Rank has reached an agreement with DAZN to broadcast eight to ten primary boxing events annually.

The deal ends an eight-month for Top Rank, which had been without a consistent major broadcast partner since its eight-year partnership with ESPN concluded in July 2025. The agreement brings a stable of world champions including Teofimo Lopez, Keyshawn Davis, Emanuel Navarrete, and Xander Zayas. Top Rank will produce between 8 and 10 live events per year exclusively for the platform.

DAZN’s Partners

  1. Matchroom Boxing: Recently extended its partnership with a new five-year deal announced in February 2026.
  2. Queensberry Promotions: Frank Warren’s stable officially moved to DAZN in April 2025, ending a long-standing tenure with TNT Sports.
  3. Golden Boy Promotions: Oscar De La Hoya’s company has been a DAZN pillar since the platform’s 2018 inception.
  4. Riyadh Season: Under the influence of Turki Alalshikh, major cross-promotional “super-cards” have consistently utilized DAZN as the primary global carrier.

“The Ring has learned that Top Rank and DAZN have reached an agreement on a multiyear partnership that will be announced this week. The deal will provide Top Rank with between eight and 10 dates per year and will pay license fees between $1 million and $1.25 million per event.”

Implications

  • The Structure: The deal guarantees eight to ten primary boxing events annually. While this is a significant reduction from the 54 events per year Top Rank provided during its peak ESPN years, it ensures that the promotion’s elite stable—including Teofimo Lopez, Naoya Inoue, and Xander Zayas—has a consistent, high-profile home.
  • The Financials: Industry insiders report that DAZN will pay license fees between $1 million and $1.25 million per event. While critics note this is a steep drop from the ~$80 million annual budget provided by ESPN, the deal allows Top Rank to maintain global visibility while offloading production and distribution logistics to DAZN.
