Tyson Fury (34-2-1 24) has announced his retirement from boxing. This marks the third time that Fury has made an announcement to retire. He previously retired in 2013 and 2017 which both didn’t last long at all.
“I’m going to make this short and sweet, I’d like to announce my retirement from boxing,” Fury said. “It’s been a blast, I’ve loved every single minute of it and I’m going to end with this. Dick Turpin wore a mask. God bless everybody, see you on the other side.”

The Dick Turpin reference is a famed 18th century highway robbery and horse thief. So with that reference he’s still upset about his loss against Oleksandr Usyk.
Fury only two losses as a professional are against Usyk and clearly he is not over the decision of their last fight. Fury most notable win came against Wladimir Klitchko on November 28 2015 making the first time that he’s won the heavyweight championship.
The most entertaining event of Fury’s career was his trilogy with Deontay Wilder where they fought to a draw in their first fight. Then the next two fights Fury would knock him out. Those fights are believed to have taken a lot of out Wilder as he hasn’t been the same since the third fight.
