23-year-old unbeaten super featherweight prospect Ibraheem Sulaimaan (5-0, 3 KOs) was in action on September 28 against Kevin Trana (15-20-3, 9 KOs). “Spider” showed why he is one of the best prospects in British boxing as he knocked down his opponent in round three before the Birmingham fighter suffered a nasty cut from an accidental clash of heads in round four, which resulted in the fight being waved off and going to the referee’s scorecard. The card reflected a dominant performance, with Sulaimaan winning 40-36. The exciting super featherweight prospect has now signed a promotional deal with Matchroom Boxing. as he looks to take his career to the next level.
Sulaimann has quickly made a name for himself as a serious prospect, which has led to this deal with Matchroom. He showed his talent as an amateur winning four National titles, a British title, and an East Midlands gold medal. He has adapted well to the professional ranks, showing his ability to throw fast combinations with plenty of spite.
He mixes his shots in eye-catching style, making him a nightmare to face.
