Deontay Wilder walked out of a talkSPORT interview after he was pressed over his comments where he claimed Tyson Fury cheated during their first two fights, ultimately requiring security to intervene.

Wilder arrived into the interview to promote his April 4 fight with Derek Chisora. The friction began when the interviewer Simon Jordan steered the conversation towards Wilder’s rivalry with Fury. Despite Wilder’s insistence that he would not discuss Fury, Jordan pressed the 40-year-old on his history of making “excuses” for his losses, specifically his repeated claims that Fury cheated.

“I don’t know about the third one but, in the first two, he definitely cheated. I have proof and evidence of that. When I do my documentary and my movie, it will be presented, all the evidence that I know. The man cheated, he is the biggest cheater in boxing history, if you look him up, you will see it. And, if I am lying, then sue me for defamation of character.

“Being a black man, with dark skin, makes it harder to believe me than a white man. “In the first fight, with the referee, that’s white supremacy. He said he did what he thought was best for boxing, but his job was to count his a** out, he gave him an extra 15 seconds,” Wilder said

Wilder Walks Out

Wilder doubled down on these accusations, labeling Fury the “biggest cheat in boxing,” while Jordan countered by calling Wilder’s attitude “flaky” and “disappointing.” Wilder stood up and shouted, “I don’t give a f*** about that! I said we didn’t want to bring him up in the first place, it ain’t got s*** to do with him.” As Wilder exited the building, security personnel were forced to step in to ensure the situation did not escalate further.
