Good news: Texas baseball signed a left-handed pitching recruit who’s 6’9 and throws a 100+ MPH as a high school senior.

Bad news: Texas baseball will be competing with 30 MLB teams to sign him next season.

Brody Bumila, who is on a pitch count following Tommy John surgery two years ago, touched 100 MPH while striking out all six batters he faced.

Nearly 30 MLB scouts were in attendance to watch him pitch.

Some fans are wondering if he’ll ever even attend college at this point:

Other fans’ thoughts were with the poor batters who had to face him:

Texas will have to wait and see if they’ll ever actually get to use the generational pitcher who’s committed to the school.
