The 2025 McDonald's All-American Game is set to tip off on Tuesday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, shining a spotlight on the next generation of college basketball stars.
This year’s event is headlined by AJ Dybantsa, the No. 1 prospect in the 2025 class, who made waves earlier this year by committing to BYU over traditional powerhouses like Kansas, North Carolina, and Alabama. Dybantsa is the first BYU signee to make the McDonald's All-American Game since Garner Meads in 2000, and he’s already projected as the early favorite to be the No. 1 pick in the 2026 NBA Draft.
Dybantsa won't be alone when it comes to star power. Future Kansas guard Darryn Peterson and Duke's Cameron Boozer are expected to challenge him for the top spot in the 2026 NBA Draft. Boozer, joined by his brother Cayden and fellow Blue Devil signee Nikolas Khamenia, is continuing a family legacy, following in the footsteps of his father, Carlos Boozer, who was a McDonald's All-American in 1999.
UConn, fresh off back-to-back national championships, will be well-represented with Braylon Mullins, Eric Reibe, and Darius Adams. Arkansas, under first-year head coach John Calipari, brings Darius Acuff Jr. and Meleek Thomas, while Final Four teams Houston and Duke have multiple selections. Kentucky, Louisville, Washington, and Notre Dame each secured key selections as well, highlighting the impact of coaches like Mark Pope, Pat Kelsey, Danny Sprinkle, and Micah Shrewsberry on the recruiting trail.
The game also features four elite undecided prospects — Nate Ament, Koa Peat, Alijah Arenas, and Brayden Burries — adding extra intrigue as coaches eagerly await their commitments.
