No. 3 Duke improved to 23-3 and 15-1 in ACC play following a convincing 80-62 win over Virginia on Monday night in front of 14,445 fans at John Paul Jones Arena.
Star freshman Cooper Flagg had a strong night, finishing with 17 points and 14 rebounds. Flagg, Kon Knueppel, and Isaiah Evans led the Blue Devils in scoring with 17 points each.
Duke has won three games in a row and has the lead in the ACC by 1.5 games over the No. 25 Louisville Cardinals and No. 18 Clemson Tigers.
Unfortunately for Duke, the team suffered a significant injury in the win on Monday night.
Per Mike Barber, Duke head coach Jon Scheyer confirmed that Maliq Brown sustained a dislocated shoulder.

Per ESPN's Pete Thamel, Duke is uncertain when Brown can return to play.
Brown scored two points against Virginia before suffering the injury.
The junior from Culpeper, Virginia is averaging 2.5 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game this season.
This was Brown's first season at Duke. The forward spent his first two years with the Syracuse Orange.
