The Gonzaga Bulldogs are among the three finalists to land elite scoring guard Tyon Grant-Foster out of the transfer portal, according to reporting from Isaac Trotter and Travis Branham of 247Sports.
Trotter reported the Grand Canyon guard is choosing between Gonzaga, Washington, and Arizona State, with the Zags holding a "slight edge" over the other two.
The 6'7 wing led the 'Lopes to a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances, including a win as a 12-seed over 5-seed Saint Mary's in Spokane in 2024 - the same year he won WAC Player of the Year after averaging 20.1 points per game.

Grant-Foster is the No. 10 ranked available transfer according to 247Sports. After starting his career at Indiana Hills Community College, Grant-Foster appeared in 22 games with Kansas in 2020-21 before transferring to DePaul - where he appeared in just one game before a scary medical issue with his heart required surgery, costing him the rest of 2021-22 and all of 2022-23.
At 6'7, Grant-Foster's length and fluidity with the basketball make him a matchup nightmare and a great fit in Gonzaga's new look backcourt.
The Zags will deploy redshirt guards Braeden Smith and Jalen Warley, new transfer Adam Miller from Arizona State, and returners Emmanuel Innocenti and Steele Venters on the outside to compliment returning bigs Braden Huff and Graham Ike.
The team is rumored to be in contact with Spanish guard Mario Saint-Supery, and have made contact with transfer guards Desmond Claude (USC) and AJ Smith (Charleston) as well.
