After nearly a month of no true post presence, the Kentucky Wildcats returned Aaron Bradshaw in early December. In just his second game back, against Penn, Bradshaw went for a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds, leading Kentucky in both categories.
According to John Calipari, the Wildcats may have the second of their three seven-footers back on the court very soon. Before Saturday’s game, Calipari said that Ugonna Onyenso returned to practice this week and will “hopefully” be ready for North Carolina this coming Saturday in the CBS Sports Classic.
John Calipari says Ugonna Onyenso WILL NOT play today, but hopes he will be ready by next weekend.

Calipari has echoed that Onyenso has been two weeks behind Bradshaw in his recovery. The North Carolina game will be exactly two weeks from Bradshaw’s debut. When Onyenso does return, barring injury, Kentucky will be just one player away from a full roster, Zvonimir Ivisic, who is still waiting for a ruling on his NCAA eligibility.
