The Michigan State Spartans held off nearly 20 challengers in the Big Ten Conference last season as they staked their claim to a regular season league title, defeating arch rival Michigan twice in the late season.
The Spartans cashed in their regular season success with a run to the Elite 8, where they were dispatched by the same team that defeated Michigan, coach Bruce Pearl's Auburn Tigers.
On Friday, one of the Spartans' key cogs, high flying forward Coen Carr, was given an update on his progress by a prominent basketball media page.
Carr is working to shore up key areas of his game in the gym, most notably one that will be all too familiar to MSU and Big Ten Conference fans.
"In the gym to see Coen Carr today — measured a 51.5-inch vertical last year, and he puts it to use on both ends," the X page Greenlight Media wrote on Friday.
"Carr played his best basketball late in season, and played a major role in MSU's Elite Eight run.
"He continues to improve his outside shooting and will fly onto 2026 NBA Draft radars."
Carr was shown throwing down sledgehammer and between-the-legs dunks on the practice court, blocking shots and putting up plenty of three-pointers as he worked to hone his craft.
Greenlight Media captured the highlights on film as they shared video of Carr's exploits on the hardwood Friday.

"Coen Carr WILL be invited to the NBA combine whenever he decides to go pro," one comment from a fan read on X Friday.
"And he will almost certainly shatter the combine's record for highest vertical...As well as the world record for highest vertical," they predicted.
