Michigan State's Tyson Walker hits game-winning three to beat No. 4 Purdue

The Michigan State Spartans blew an 11-point lead in the final minutes of a Saturday home game against the No. 4 Purdue Boilermakers, but junior Tyson Walker came to the rescue.

With the score tied 65-65, Walker dribbled out much of the clock before pulling up and draining a three-pointer with 1.4 seconds left to put the Spartans up by three.

The score held as the two teams somehow managed to combine for three turnovers in the last 1.4 seconds.

Purdue was ahead 11-10 early in the game, but never held another lead. Jaden Ivey, a projected top pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, scored 16 points for the Boilermakers, but finished with five turnovers. Purdue made just one of nine three-point attempts, while Michigan State made nine of 20 tries.

Gabe Brown made three of those three-pointers for the Spartans and led the team with 13 points.
