
The No. 5 seed St. John's Red Storm are looking to win their first national championship in program history. They're up against their biggest battle yet in the 2026 NCAA Tournament, playing the No. 1 Duke Blue Devils in a Sweet 16 matchup. The Red Storm have made it this far, already beating the No. 12 Northern Iowa Panthers and No. 4 Kansas Jayhawks.
With a trip to the Elite Eight on the line, pressure continues to rise for forward Zuby Ejiofor. He's a major factor in St. John's run. This season, he is averaging 16.3 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game, all of which lead the team.
He continues to gain national recognition, earning an honorable mention as an AP All-American. While expectations grow, Ejiofor has used this time in the spotlight to cash in on some off-court opportunities.
The senior already has an On3 name, image and likeness valuation of $616,000. That is the 22nd highest of any power forward in college basketball.
The NCAA Tournament has grown his popularity and personal brand. He's previously revealed deals with companies such as The GLD Shop, NBA 2K and Bose. Before playing Duke, Ejiofor revealed a new NIL partnership with Raising Cane's
"Still Hooping @raisingcanes #CaniacAmbassador ," he wrote via an Instagram post.
With his newest deal revealed, he and the Red Storm remain focused on the Blue Devils. DraftKings lists St. John's as 6.5-point underdogs. The game is on Friday, scheduled for 7:10 p.m. ET at Capital One Arena, and will air on CBS.
The winner will advance and play either the No. 2 UConn Huskies or No. 3 Michigan State Spartans.
