Class of 2026 four-star recruit Jalyn Collingwood named his updated list of his top seven programs, which included the Texas Tech Red Raiders, per Dushawn London.

The 6-foot-5 small forward is ranked as the No. 150 overall player in the 2026 cycle and the 49th-best player at his position, according to 247Sports.

Collingwood is also considering Mississippi State, Ohio State, Michigan State, Vanderbilt, Butler, and Maryland.

The rising senior will play his last season of high school basketball with Sidwell Friends High School, located in Washington, D.C.

He has an official visit scheduled with the Red Raiders and received offers from multiple Big 12 programs before trimming down his list. Oklahoma State and Arizona State had a strong interest in Collingwood.

The Red Raiders have been one of the top programs in the country for the past two seasons, going 23-11 in 2023-24, before a 28-9 finish this past season.

Head Coach Grant McCasland has led Texas Tech to the NCAA Tournament in his first two seasons at the helm and guided the program to the Elite 8.

Last season, Texas Tech ranked third in the Big 12 in offense at 80.9 points per game. The team was also one of the most underrated defensive teams in the country, allowing just 68.5 points per outing.
