Top Ranked Player in State of Washington Receives Offer from Gonzaga
Gabriel Mayberry-USA TODAY Sports

The Gonzaga Bulldogs became the latest team to offer Jalen Davis, a 4-star guard from Bremerton, WA, who reported the offer on social media Tuesday afternoon.

In addition to Gonzaga, Davis holds offers from Stanford, Washington, Washington State, SeattleU, and Montana.

Davis is the second player offered by Mark Few and Gonzaga in the 2027 class, joining five-star forward Baba Oladotun from Maryland. The Zags have also contacted 4-star wing Dooney Johnson from Milwaukee.

Davis is currently the No. 34 ranked prospect in the 2027 class at 247Sports, coming in as the No. 9 ranked point guard and No. 1 overall prospect in the state of Washington.

Davis would be the first high major player from Bremerton high school since Marvin Williams back in 2004. Williams played with Davis' dad - Miah Davis - who himself went on to play two seasons at Pacific where he averaged 12.6 points, 2.9 assists, and 1.1 steals for the Tigers who were in the Big West at the time.

Davis played well on the summer circuit, showing off his scoring skills with Beauchamp Elite's 16U squad back in May. He is a strong outside shooter who thus far has proven he can make things happen with the ball in his hands. Despite a slight frame, Davis has displayed some explosive athleticism as well, and when he matures physically and learns how to play off the ball his upside is tremendous.

Gonzaga is already making noise in the 2027 class, and has been active in pursuing 2026 prospects as well. Currently the Zags have offers out to 5-stars Ikenna Alozie and Cam Holmes as well as 4-star center Sam Funches, who is set to take an official visit to Spokane Oct. 3-5 for Kraziness in the Kennel.
