Auburn's veteran forward Jaylin Williams played a big role in its 66-55 win over Texas A&M.
What did Williams have to say after the game?
Williams talked about what made Texas A&M difficult to play against.
"They're long athletes, they're SEC players," Williams said. "They just played really hard."
Williams hit an important 3-point basket late in the game to extend Auburn's lead. He talked about what was going through his mind during that moment.
"I feel like that's one of the biggest shots of my career for sure," Williams said. "To me, it was just another shot. I practice that shot all the time. Texas A&M has beat me up pretty well the past few years so it was good to just make that shot."
Williams led Auburn in scoring with 22 points and in rebounds with eight. He shot 8-10 from the field, 1-2 from 3-point range and 5-5 from the free-throw line.
Auburn will be back in action on Saturday when it hosts the LSU Tigers at Neville Arena. Tipoff is set for 5 p.m. CT and SEC Network will carry the broadcast.
