After being without quarterback Jayden Daniels in Week 3 due to a knee sprain, the Washington Commanders may be down their star receiver in Week 4.
According to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter, the status of wide receiver Terry McLaurin for Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons is currently up in the air. McLaurin left Washington's 41-24 win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sept. 21 in the fourth quarter and did not return.

McLaurin has not missed a game since the 2020 season. He's been as consistent as they come in the NFL, but that may be in jeopardy.
For the second straight season, McLaurin has gotten off to a bit of a slow start. In 2024, he had just 39 receiving yards through two weeks. This season, he has 149 receiving yards and no touchdowns through three weeks.
If last season's stats are any indication, McLaurin will be just fine — barring his injury status. He finished the year with 13 touchdowns and 1,096 receiving yards en route to his second Pro Bowl nomination. The 30-year-old then signed a three-year, $96 million contract extension with the Commanders in August after a contentious stand-off throughout the summer.
If both McLaurin and Daniels are out on Sunday, backup signal-caller Marcus Mariota must try to rally the Commanders for the second straight week. With a win, Washington would improve to 3-1 before their schedule ramps up with the Los Angeles Chargers, Dallas Cowboys and Kansas City Chiefs on the schedule in October.
