Memphis G Iverson plans to transfer at end of semester

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Memphis sophomore guard/forward Kuran Iverson won't be returning to the team and plans to transfer at the end of the spring semester. The school said Friday that Iverson intends to remain a student at Memphis this spring to focus on his academics before heading to another school. Iverson averaged 4.6 points, 1.9 rebounds and 11.8 minutes in eight games this season...

Memphis' Iverson suspended two games for violation of team rules

  Memphis guard/forward Kuran Iverson has been suspended for a violation of team rules. Memphis athletic department spokesman Lamar Chance said Tuesday that Iverson will miss the Tigers' next two games. Memphis (8-5, 1-1 American) is at SMU on Thursday and at Houston on Sunday. Iverson, a 6-foot-9 sophomore, has played in eight games this season and averaged 4.6 points and 1.9 rebounds.
