Caitlin Clark's Boyfriend Is Taking Heat For His 'Soft' Behavior

Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy revealed that Caitlin Clark blocked him on social media. And it appears to have something to do with comments made about Caitlin Clark's boyfriend's father.

Clark, who rose to superstardom during her college days at Iowa, is dating former Iowa Hawkeyes star Connor McCaffery, who is the son of ex-Hawkeyes coach Fran McCaffery, now at Penn.

Portnoy recently called out McCaffery's tenure at Iowa, saying that it “took 1 year for them to go further than their entire 17-year run with Fran,” after Ben McCollum led them to the Elite Eight.

Portnoy was recently put on the phone with a member of the McCaffery family.

“He put a McCaffery in front of me on a cell phone, I didn’t know who I was talking to, and he was like ‘I don’t like what you guys have been saying about my dad,’ and I’m like ‘Who am I even talking to?'” Portnoy said.

Clark ended up blocking Portnoy, though fans are blaming her boyfriend.

"Connor has moved on to blocking people from his girlfriend’s account now," one fan added.

"One of her biggest supporters & avid fan. The McCaffery cost is steep & apparently thinned skinned," one fan added.

"Is there a worse family in all of sports than the McCaffery family?" one fan added.
