Hailey Van Lith's Boyfriend Gets Real About Sky Rookie: 'She Talks...'

Former TCU Horned Frogs star Hailey Van Lith has a slew of solid supporters, but her biggest fan might just be her NBA boyfriend Jalen Suggs.

The 23-year-old received major support from the Orlando Magic player after he joined her during the 2025 WNBA Draft.

After Van Lith was selected 11th overall by the Chicago Sky, Suggs was seen congratulating her and pulling her in for a hug as she grew emotional upon hearing her name called.

In an interview with Taylor Rooks, the Magic guard shared a proud moment as Van Lith enters the professional league.

“Anytime you get to see people accomplish their dreams, there’s been a different joy and excitement. But when it's your people, I think it makes it to another level,” Suggs said.

In addition, Jalen Suggs pointed out how deserving Hailey Van Lith is of the success she's currently enjoying.

“My heart is happy. I am so happy for her family. They are great people and they all deserve it," Suggs added.

Interestingly, the NBA player was asked about Van Lith’s competitiveness and relentless drive to win.

“Oh, she talks trash to me,” he said, whether it's a basketball game, a simple card game or even puzzles. Suggs joked that he "feels bad for the girls that actually have to play against her."

Lastly, he expressed his deep admiration and appreciation for the Sky rookie, adding that he was also learning things about her just by observing her in that competitive zone.

The pair has been rumored to be dating since 2021. Despite keeping their relationship mostly under wraps and rarely sharing glimpses of each other on social media, Hailey Van Lith acknowledged the NBA star as her boyfriend.

This came after PEOPLE magazine referred to Suggs as her "boyfriend" on the carpet at the 2025 draft—an introduction she didn’t react to or correct.
