Paige Bueckers' parents, Amy Fuller and Bob Bueckers, have watched with appreciation as their daughter has become one of the faces of college basketball. As Paige has already announced her intention to enter the WNBA draft, the star's family has been experiencing a bit of a farewell tour as the guard completes her career with the UConn Huskies.

Watching Paige take over games has become commonplace for the star's mom.

“She is made for these moments,” Amy told CT Insider's Roger Cleaveland during a March 28 interview. “Anyone on this team on any given night can go out and score 30 points. That is the beauty of this team.

"Anyone can step up on any given night, but she probably wanted to do it this night (final UConn home game), not just for herself but for her teammates and the fans to hopefully provide some joy for the community that supported her so much.”

According to People.com, Paige's parents divorced when she was 3 and both went on to remarry. Despite the split, Paige's parents have both remained an active part of her life.

“It would mean so much for her (to win a national championship), and I think it would give her a chance to take it all in, take a deep breath and step away and be able to say, ‘Yes, we finally got one,’” Paige's dad, Bob explained to CT Insider.

“If she doesn’t get one, I feel like there is always going to be that little piece of UConn that is missing for her and her team."

Entering Sunday's national title game against the South Carolina Gamecocks, Bueckers averaged 20 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game.

Prior to the game, Paige's brother, Drew, sent his big sister a heartfelt message.
