Arkansas Razorbacks wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa has taken one of the most challenging roads to the 2024 NFL Draft. From a standout career at Division II Hillsdale College to competing in the SEC and shining at the Senior Bowl, TeSlaa has proven himself worthy of consideration at the next level. His combination of size, athleticism, and strong hands makes him an intriguing prospect, especially for teams looking for a physical outside receiver.

6’3 212lbs playing slot WR. Doesn’t drop the ball and is an excellent run blocker. Reminds me of Jake Bobo in his year at UCLA. pic.twitter.com/HsWFBLc8NJ
TeSlaa began his collegiate career at Hillsdale College in Michigan, where he spent three seasons developing into a dominant force at the Division II level. His production and physical traits earned him an opportunity to transfer to Arkansas, where he spent two seasons competing against top-tier talent. Over those two seasons, he logged 897 receiving yards and five touchdowns. While his numbers don’t jump off the page, they don’t tell the full story—TeSlaa often displayed top-end receiver potential but was hindered by inconsistent quarterback play.
TeSlaa's game is built on elite athleticism and physicality. At 6 foot 4 and 216 pounds, he possesses an ideal frame for an outside receiver. Thanks to his impressive measurables—a 38-inch vertical jump, a 10-foot-5 broad jump, and a 315-pound bench press—he made Bruce Feldman's 2023 Freak's List, ranking at No. 83. His strength and leaping ability make him a nightmare for defensive backs in one-on-one situations, and he consistently wins contested catches.
SLEEPER ALERT: Former D2 All-American Isaac TeSlaa has made some highlight reel one-handed catches this fall for Arkansas but he proved he's last Saturday (5 rec, 120 yards, 1 TD).

Heading into the draft process, one of the biggest questions surrounding TeSlaa was his ability to compete against elite competition. The Senior Bowl provided the perfect stage for him to showcase his skills, and he delivered. Throughout practice and in the game itself, TeSlaa stood out as a reliable target, proving that he can hold his own against top-tier defensive backs. His performance helped solidify his case as a legitimate NFL prospect.
TeSlaa projects best in a vertical passing offense that can utilize his size, strength, and ability to high-point passes. He has the physicality to be a reliable boundary target, particularly in red-zone situations. While he may not be a primary option early in his career, he has the tools to develop into a solid complementary receiver with further refinement in his route running and experience against top-tier defenders. With the right system and coaching, TeSlaa has the potential to carve out a meaningful role in the NFL.
