The Auburn Tigers started the season 3-0 with wins over Baylor, Ball State and South Alabama, but have since lost to Oklahoma and Texas A&M.
One of Auburn's biggest receiving threats is Cam Coleman, who is a former five-star recruit and has caught 17 passes for 255 yards and two touchdowns this season.
On Friday, he took to social media to announce a career decision that he made off the field.
Coleman has officially signed a Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) deal with Nike.
Coleman announced the news in a joint Instagram post with the athletic brand.
"Sharpest in the Iron State," the caption read. "Welcome to the family, Cam Coleman."
This move comes on the same day that Coleman's teammate and fellow wide receiver Eric Singleton Jr. also announced a deal with Nike.
Some of the other college football players outside of Auburn who have already signed with Nike include Alabama wide receiver Ryan Williams and LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier.
According to On3, Coleman has an NIL valuation of $1.7 million. He also has NIL deals with SeatGeek and Krystal.
Coleman and the Tigers will look to improve to 4-2 as they get set to host No. 10 Georgia (4-1) on Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC. The Bulldogs have won 11 of the last 12 meetings against Auburn.
