The biggest focus for the Florida Gators right now is the 2026 recruiting class. It's especially important right now because head coach Billy Napier only has two commitments in 2026:

There has been some serious movement by the Gators when it comes to recruiting, especially with so many recruits making visits to campus in recent weeks.

Florida Gators offer 2027 QB1 Kavian Bryant

The recruiting hasn't stopped for Napier, as he's also looking ahead to the 2027 class. On Wednesday, they offered a scholarship to On3 Sports' top quarterback Kavian Bryant.

The quarterback position is one thing that is interesting to project out.. The Gators have DJ Lagway for at least 2025 and 2026 with a likely jump to the NFL Draft after his junior season. They don't have a lot of depth on the roster after the 2025 season with transfer Harrison Bailey and Clay Millen set to have their eligibility expire.

The Gators do have Aidan Warner who just earned a scholarship and true freshman four-star Tramell Jones to have some depth, but the guy to take over for Lagway hasn't been found yet.

Bryant is a quarterback from Westwood High School in Palestine, Texas, leading them to the second round of the 3A, Division 1 playoffs, where they lost to Columbus, the eventual state champions. During the season, Bryant threw for 2,442 yards, 34 touchdowns, and just three interceptions, while running for 709 yards and 11 touchdowns on the ground.

He's a true dual-threat who also has offers to play college basketball, which the dual-sport aspect for a quarterback is incredibly intriguing.

Napier has consistently been going into the state of Texas for quarterbacks, as Lagway was a star at Willis High School. Bryant currently holds over 20 offers, including multiple from his home state of Texas. He's going to be one to keep an eye on throughout his recruitment, especially with a four-star rating after having just finished his sophomore season.
