On Saturday morning Ohio State head coach Ryan Day sent a clear message to the team's fans: today's game against Michigan has nothing to do with Michigan.
"Our No. 1 goal every year is to win this game. We put absolutely everything we have into our process every single day toward this game," he said. "We don't wear blue. We don't say the 'M' word. But this is not about them today."
"This is about us. This is about our team. This is about our fans. This is about our university. This is about our state. This is about our toughness. This is about our work ethic. This is about our integrity, our character, our resilience and who we are as Buckeyes."
Well, one Ohio State fan didn't appear to get the message because he made it all about himself - and the opposing team. According to MGoBlog photographer Patrick Barron, an Ohio State fan was seen spitting on Michigan players coming out of the tunnel before the game.
"Ohio State fan spitting on the Michigan players coming out of their locker room," Barron revealed.

Fans immediately called for the fan to be banned from the stadium for life.
"Man, any fan does this to any player or coach (even Ryan day), they should be banned from any sporting event for life," one person said.
"ban this dude from the horseshoe," said another.
"This guy shouldn't be allowed at OSU again," offered a third.
As for the actual football game, Ohio State opened the scoring with a field goal - the only score in the first quarter. The second quarter has seen a bit more action, with Michigan adding a touchdown and a field goal to take a 10-3 lead before a late touchdown pass from Buckeyes quarterback Will Howard to wide receiver Jeremiah Smith tied the game at 10.
