College Football All-America Team 2023: SEC leads first-team selections
USA Today Images

Among the end-of-season festivities around college football is the annual selection of the All-America team, which was released this week by the Associated Press. And, as expected, the honor list is composed of the best players in the nation all coming off elite performances in the 2023 season.

And, as ever, the SEC was well-represented among that cohort. The conference leads the way with nine first-team selections, followed by the Big Ten with six, the Pac-12 with four, and the Big 12 with three players mentioned. Just the ACC finished without more than one player listed on the first team.
