The Week 14 college football slate kicked off with a few Tuesday night matchups.
Buffalo hosted Kent State and Akron welcomed Toledo, both at 7 p.m. ET. The matchup between the Zips and Rockets went to overtime, with Akron winning 21-14.
Despite the thrilling overtime game in Akron, Ohio, there wasn't much fanfare in Week 14. A photo from "College Football Campus Tour" on X revealed a limited fan attendance at InfoCision Stadium.
The stadium, which was built from 2007 to 2009, has a capacity of around 30,000, but an official "sellout" is registered at 27,881 fans.
While the Zips have been successful lately, winning their second straight game in Week 14, Tuesday was far from a sellout.

Akron pulled off the upset on Tuesday. According to CBS Sports, they went into the matchup as an 8.5-point underdog, with the money line set at -326 in favor of the Rockets.
Despite the betting lines, Akron pulled off the victory behind a solid performance from their offensive attack.
Quarterback Ben Finley led the way with two touchdowns and 194 yards, completing 10-of-21 pass attempts.
His No. 1 receiver, Ahmarian Granger, finished the game with one touchdown and 106 yards on two receptions.
Running back Tahj Bullock also had a quality performance with one touchdown and 22 yards on eight carries.
With the Week 14 win over Toledo, Akron wrapped up its 2024 college football season.
They finished the year with a 4-8 record, 3-5 in the Mid-American Conference. While they are ineligible for a bowl game, the Zips should keep their heads held high, winning back-to-back games to finish the season after starting the year with a 1-6 record, 0-3 in conference play.
