There are several reasons why Deion Sanders doesn't receive the credit he deserves for what he accomplished so far in Boulder.

Some don’t like the style. Some don’t like the hype. Some don't like the overhype. Some don't like the fawning overhype.

Colorado had the nation’s worst rushing attack last season. The pass protection has been at a whole other level of awful. And yeah, for all of the positives, Coach Prime’s teams - both at Jackson State and last year with the Buffaloes - have been brutal in the postseason.

Colorado’s last bowl win was in 2004.

The reliance on the transfer portal has created an all-frosting-no-cake aspect to a program that has three wins over FBS teams that finished with winning records over the last two years, and one of those required a Hail Mary against Baylor to do it.

Deion Sanders won games last year, and no, it wasn’t just because of Shedeur and Travis. This year will be about a defense that should be a terror, and a more balanced offense.
