Connor Lew NFL Draft Scouting Report

Auburn's Connor Lew is one of the top interior offensive line prospects in the 2026 NFL Draft, and arguably the best center in this year's class. A three-year starter against SEC competition, Lew brings a ton of experience against top competition to the next level, which should allow him to make an immediate impact as a likely Day 2 pick.

Here's everything NFL fans need to know about Lew heading into this year's draft:

Connor Lew's Vitals

Height: 6-3

Weight: 300

Age: 20

Connor Lew's Strengths

Despite being one of the younger prospects in this class, Lew brings a ton of starting experience against top competition to the table. Since taking over as the starter as a true freshman, Lew has developed the ability to captain his unit at a high level, making effective presnap checks and setting the entire offense up for success with his processing skills. He’s quick out of his stance and precise with his hand strikes, showing smooth feet and consistent balance as he mirrors interior rushers in pass protection. He’s adept at executing combo blocks and working to the second level to take on linebackers, and he finishes strong when he has a leverage advantage late in the rep.

Connor Lew's Weaknesses

Lew has just average size for the position, and his frame lacks the pure strength and power to effectively anchor against power rushers and control the line of scrimmage against quality nose tackles who can drive him off the ball. He’s got adequate athleticism for the position, but his movement skills aren’t elite to the point where they make up for his lack of ideal size and strength.

Final Analysis

While his physical limitations may put a cap on his ceiling, Lew still brings some upside to the table as a 20-year-old prospect who already has nearly three years of starting experience in the SEC. Improving his overall strength and power profile is a must if he wants to hold his own against the NFL’s strongest interior defenders.
