The Georgia Bulldogs are gearing up for spring ball and could be without two key players: cornerback Daylen Everette and defensive lineman Christen Miller.
According to Graham Coffey of Dawgs Central, both starters underwent surgery at the end of the 2024 season.
Breaking News: UGA CB Daylen Everette and DL Christen Miller Undergo Offseason Surgeries

DawgsCentral has learned Everette underwent surgery for a sports hernia shortly after Georgia’s season ended
Miller had surgery to repair a damaged shoulder labrum
Everette underwent surgery for a sports hernia (groin) while Miller had surgery to repair a damaged shoulder labrum.
Miller's injury stems from when he injured his shoulder during Georgia's win over UMass on Nov. 23rd. He missed Georgia's next two games before returning to their College Football Playoff loss to Notre Dame.
As for Everette, he did not miss a single game in 2024, so it's unclear when he developed this injury.
Sources tell Coffey that both players will be either limited participants in drills or held out entirely when the Bulldogs start spring practice in March. Coffey also notes that both players are expected to make full recoveries well before the 2025 college football season kicks off.
Everette and Miller join offensive tackle Monroe Freeling (shoulder), defensive end Gabe Harris (left arm), and tight end Colton Heinrich (unspecified) as other players who underwent surgeries this offseason and will be rehabbing throughout the spring.
The only good news to come out of key players being sidelines is that it gives younger players further down the depth chart more opportunities at practice.
