Deion Sanders is known for candid parenting moment, but now he's taking it a step further as 'Papa Prime'. The Colorado Buffaloes coach is embracing his role of being a grandfather and unveiled “Snow’s Playground.” A special area on his compound in Texas he created for his grandson, Snow, complete with a swing, slide, and other features.
Sanders shared his new creation on Instagram with a signature tough love dig at his son, Shilo. "Lord thank you for my DAUGHTER @deiondrasanders for blessing me with my grandson SNOW. God you are incredible. I only know how to be a blessing so SNOW got it coming. I Love him like he’s mine! He’s cutting into @shilosanders Trust fund. Lololololol #Grandhitta #PapaPrime #GrandPrime"
The light-hearted post revealed the close bond he's establishing with his "Hitta" and playful teasing that define their family dynamic. While the comment sparked laughs, it also reminded fans that Shilo is now forging his own path in the NFL.
The middle son of Prime recently signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent after a solid college career at South Carolina, Jackson State, and Colorado. Over 54 games, he recorded 229 tackles, six interceptions, and nine forced fumbles—four of which came during his time at Colorado, where he also returned both a pick and a fumble for touchdowns.
Despite going undrafted, Shilo’s deal with the Buccaneers is worth $2.96 million over three years. As he fights to make the final roster, he carries the pressure of carrying his father’s legacy. With a proven knack for big plays and a strong work ethic, Sanders is determined to prove himself and maybe even earn back a little of that spotlight Snow’s been stealing lately.
