Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes are primed for an Alamo Bowl matchup against the BYU Cougars on Saturday night.
Coach Prime and his team arrived in San Antonio earlier this week to prepare for their upcoming bowl-game matchup. The team is staying at a local hotel, and Sanders wants to make sure his players respect their host.
A video of Sanders addressing his team is making the rounds on social media. In the video, Coach Prime sent a stern warning to his players about smoking in the hotel.
"If I smell smoke on any floor or if I get someone that tells me somebody is smoking on that floor, that will be your last puff," Sanders said.
"I’m just trying to tell you, it will be your last puff. That’ll be your last puff. I hope it was good because that’s gonna be your last one," he continued. "I promise you, if I smell smoke on your clothes at practice in the morning... that’s gonna be your last time."

Colorado finished its 2024 regular season with an impressive 9-3 record. Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter and projected top NFL draft pick Shedeur Sanders will both play in Saturday night's Alamo Bowl matchup against BYU.
“If I were a fan, I wouldn’t miss this game,” Coach Prime said during his Alamo Bowl press conference earlier this week. “This is going to be a battle between two great teams.”
Sanders and the Buffaloes will kickoff against BYU at 7:30 p.m. EST on Saturday night.
