Eli Drinkwitz stayed on the SEC Coaches Teleconference Wednesday to serve as a media member, and he asked Kalen DeBoer about his black hoodie.

DeBoer’s black hoodie has taken on a life of its own with the success the Tide have enjoyed on the field when he dons what Drinkwitz jokingly calls the ‘black hoodie of death.’ The Missouri head coach had to ask DeBoer himself Wednesday if he will be wearing the hoodie for Saturday’s game while Missouri wears its black jerseys.

“I got to fit in somehow,” DeBoer said while laughing. “I’m more than likely. We’ll see what the forecast is. I kind of know, but yeah, I’m expecting that. So, it’s kind of got its own life of its own right now, so, we’re rolling with it.”

“That’s the only question I needed to find out for today,” Drinkwitz said in response to DeBoer.

Alabama is currently 12-2 when DeBoer sports the black hoodie.
