Ex-Colorado Star Reacts to Deion Sanders Jr.’s Collaboration With Nike

Carolina Panthers incoming rookie wide receiver Jimmy Horn Jr. formed a strong relationship with Deion Sanders' family throughout his time with the Colorado Buffaloes.

Horn, 22, shared interests with the eldest son and entrepreneur Deion Sanders Jr., including creating music and purchasing jewelry. Furthermore, the tandem collaborated on a song titled “Trippin Pt 2,” which was released in December 2024.

The track amassed 78,442 views and 1.9 thousand likes on YouTube. In terms of fashion, both have been seen wearing custom chains from “Taji Diamonds” with diamonds included in the interior design.

Sanders has also partnered with Nike to release his version of his father’s signature Air Diamond Turf 93 sneakers. His versions are red with black and white Nike logos on the back side, which Horn seemed to enjoy.

Horn is also expected to make a profound impact with the Panthers in this upcoming season as a rookie wide receiver. He could have the chance to play very well alongside quarterback Bryce Young, who is looking to have a breakout season now that he has another target to throw to.

Horn is expected to develop well as training camp continues with help and mentoring from veteran wide receiver Adam Thielen and Hunter Renfrow as they prepare for the upcoming season.

Carolina’s season opener is against the Jacksonville Jaguars at EverBank Stadium on Sept. 7, following a preseason in which they will play the Cleveland Browns, Houston Texans and Pittsburgh Steelers.
