The Florida Gators had a whopping 13 commitments in the month of June, and have started getting things ramped up for the month of July. After losing out on two major recruitments to kick off the month, head coach Billy Napier ramed things up in landing four-star cornerback C.J. Hester and four-star defensive tackle Kendall Guervil.
Monday saw the Gators land a player who they have been linked to since back in March, as four-star in-state linebacker Malik Morris has commited to Florida.

This was a big one for the Gators to land, as the linebacker position needed to see a win for Billy Napier. They had four-star Izayia Williams committed back in March, but losing him to his fifth school Ole Miss ramped up the pressure to land Morris.
He likely isn't going to be the only one for the Gators, as four-star linebacker DQ Forkpa has an expert prediction to land in Gainesville as well. Being able to land both players would solidify the second level behind Myles Graham for the next few years.
The commitment has the Gators with 16 commitments and 14th in the nation, along with ranking sixth in the SEC. Their commitments are expansive across both sides of the football, with six on defense and 10 on offense.
